Sam Owings on The Mental Block.

Description 

Climbs the right side of the cave, just right of Crack in the Armor (5.12a). Steep, reachy, bouldery start takes you past the "Mental Block" to a vertical finish.

Protection 

5 bolts, chain anchor.

Of the 3-4 routes that pull this roof area, I think Mental Block is by far the best. I gave this route a bit of work and the red point was totally worth it. Pretty amazing moves all over this route (Heel-toe cam leg lock, knee bar/scum, and a balance-y layaway). Though it is short, it definitely deserves more attention.
