BETA PHOTO: Marejala Feliz 5.11c

Climb the steep arch out for about 20' before turning vertical and topping out over the lip.

Follow the trail east along the coast from the Cueva Del Indio parking lot for 5-10 minutes. The arch is hard to miss.

Did this one on 7/3/2017 at about 10am. Water was ROUGH. I'm a former lifeguard/competitive swimmer and active surfer/climber but I had a pretty hard time climbing back out of the water and scarred my friend pretty good.

Def don't try this if you are not an extremely strong swimmer/climber - you need both to get out.

I heard the water is calmer earlier in the morning... it was a lot more chill when we first arrived 9 but I can't confirm that for sure and obviously many things affect waves. If you're cool parking ur car kinda "wherever" you can walk to the beach near the gasolina club and try this early in the morning before the Cuevo Del Indio parking opens.
I suggest a rescue rope/floating ring. Water was much calmer on the west side of the arch - I suspect there are other routes to found there which are probably safer too.

I found it best to start pretty deep into the roof which made it a bit on the burly side for an 11 but the holds were huge versus sharp crimps on the east face.

Prob took a good 20 min to hike here from the caves....just head east and stay as close to the water as you can. At a couple of points it'll look hopeless but there's a path you cannot see until you're right next to it.

Last note: this redefined "sharp" for me. Def bring some nice thick towels to make sitting less tricky.
