The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Climb The Church of the Jack Lord (V0- R) up to the sketchy patina patch and then head straight right with tricky footwork to reach the featured arete. Gain the arete proper and wander up easier face moves to the top.
Although a bit tall the moves are secure feeling the higher you get.

- This problem isn't listed in the Joshua Tree Bouldering Guide but is an obvious line with some good moves that's worth a go when in the area.
