BETA PHOTO: Pinch Me I'm Dreaming

Description

Although called the Main Block, this block is not the central block of The Knobs and only hosts a few routes. These routes are very high quality. You can easily climb up to the top of this block if you would like to setup a TR. To access the top, head to the right corner of the block when standing at the campfire ring facing Can I Touch It.

Getting There

From the approach trail, head right until you reach a corridor. Upon reaching the corridor, the Main Block creates the overhanging face on the left side, opposite the Mungo Jelly block on the right side. If you continue through the corridor, Pinch Me I'm Dreaming and Can I Touch It are located on the sides of the left arete before reaching the campfire ring.

Climbing Season

Start by climbing directly up the arete to reach a horizontal on the arete (crux). Continue up to reach the bolt. From here, the climbing eases up a bit. You can get another piece of gear before topping out. Really nice rock and fun moves!...[more]   Browse More Classics in Pennsylvania
