Description

As the name suggests this area holds many of Bozoo's most classic and well known bouldering problems. This area is generally bound between two talus fields on either side, the stream to the south and the cliff from Bond to White Walls above.

Many not to be missed classics: Firepole, Sloper Roof, The Pocket Problem, Moss Patch, Pinball, Bozoo Roof, The Thing, Grinding for Tips, The Flame, Fruit Loops, Destro, Hershey Squirt and a few other classic unnamed problems.

Getting There

This is a group of South facing boulders on the way up to the Iceberg Climbing Area. This is a late Fall/Winter bouldering area. If it is 40 and sunny prepare to send. If it is over 60 degrees and sunny prepare to grease off many holds.

SDS with a foot behind the detached block (or just stand start to avoid the dabbishness) then move up a series of cool sidepulls and gastons that keep you leaning left the whole way. Down climb is a slide down the "firepole" tree!...[more]   Browse More Classics in West Virginia
