Description
A peaceful group of crags lie just uphill from Lumignano. There are many overhung tufas, cave climbs, and boulders. Most of the routes are bolted, if you have a few small cams (bd.75) they will come in handy occasionally, otherwise 10 draws will get most routes. There are only two easy routes, they are long and you will be surprised to find many of the locals free-soloing past you on these. Many routes are two pitch, and could be done as one. They often have climbing festivals here that are quite fun, be aware of the language barrier. There is a cafe/bar across from the chapel in Lumignano where a photocopied guidebook can be bought for 2-euro when they are sometimes in stock. Getting There
From Vicenza, take the SP247 south to Via Palazzo Blanco, it will seem as though you have passed the crag. Take the road into Lumignano and turn left at the 3 way with the chapel in front of you (uphill away from the chapel). At via Borgo, turn left and park in the lot at the end of the street. Walk back to Via Rialto and follow it to the end, you should see the trail, it is in the driveway of the last house.
