Description
Getting There
You have two options:
1. Use the directions for accessing Walton Glen Brook, get a topo map and head for the confluence of the Little Salmon River and Walton Glen Brook. From there follow descriptions in the ice guide or the individual climbs listed here.
2. This approach will deposit you on the opposite side of the LSR valley (east). Head to Poley Mountain in the Waterford area. Follow this road passing the Chambers Settlement Road intersection. Keep right on the Creek Road. Follow this road, passing Adairs Wilderness Lodge (restaurant, cabins, gas, beer) at 9.4 kilometers. Go another 1.4 kilometers taking the second right on the Fundy Trail Parkway access road. At 2.8 k turn left onto the LSR east road. There should be a sign saying "Martin Head" and an arrow pointing at the road. Follow this for 1 k then turn right. Follow this road for 1.6 k to an intersection. Turn right again and stay on this all the way to the end. The road will swing hard right at 3.7 k. Continue another 4.1 k to the parking area. You will see a yellow Dustin Brook sign and a blue Little Salmon River Protected Area sign. Park your vehicle off to the side and walk south west through the woods for about 1.5 k to reach the LSR and the confluence of the LSR and Walton Glen Brook.
