Very secluded area. There are ice routes on both river banks. Lots of north facing routes which produces very reliable ice early and late into the season. There is some mixed with climbing on rhyolite rock of varying qualities. Stunningly beautiful location. Somewhat difficult to move around in this area due to the topography and problems with crossing the river. During long cold spells it is possible to cross on ice but it is usually not an easy undertaking.

Getting There

This area covers all the climbs north of the confluence of Little Salmon River and Walton Glen Brook.

A very unique, aesthetic ice climb. Begin on the short but steep pillar on the left hand side of a large diagonal roof. Ascend the pillar and continue up the ramp toward the final vertical headwall. Pick a finish on the headwall and top out in the trees....[more]   Browse More Classics in International
