Two climbing areas:
One along Miller creek in the shade of the trees, and another just up from the creek that gets more sun.

Another Duluth climbing area lovingly found for us by Avery.

Getting There

From 35W merge onto HWY 53 going up towards the mall area. Take the left into Lake Superior College (LSC) off of Arlington Ave. Go past the college and parking lots and park in the lot past the building. You will see the Miller Creek Interpretive Trail sign that is the trail entrance across the road from the lot. Walk down the steps on the trail and you will see a big sign, follow the trail to the left. Walk down the trail around 1/4 mile and you will see the "site 5" sign, go down the hill towards the creek. The "harder wall" will be just left of you (downstream).

There is also a super fun mellow wall at LSC. To get to it continue on the trail past the "site 5" sign for about another 1/4 mile. When the trail turns down hill to cross the creek, continue straight. The wall will be on your left. This is a super fun wall for warming up, newbies and youngins.
