  • Description

This is the first slab you will hit while approaching the rest of the Slabs. It is 80 feet in height and home to at least 5 existing climbs ranging in difficulties from 5.5 to 5.10. Rock quality is good but not as superior as most other formations in the area. With more climbers visiting theses climbs they will clean up tremendous.
At the base of this formation is also home of The Beer Cave!

    Getting There

Same approach as The Beer Cave, shoot for toe of first Slab.

This route is the classic line for this formation, it is quite long due to its wondering traversing nature. Great climbing up the middle of the formation, following all of the most obvious features this wall has to get to the top. The crux is not falling into the patches of Cacti that litter some of the features you climb above....[more]   Browse More Classics in California
