Follow existing trails and climb using removable protection or in climbing areas with existing approved fixed anchors or bolts. Development of any new rock climbing, bouldering or rappelling areas and development of any climbing routes involving the permanent installation of new fixed anchors or new trail construction requires prior Forest Service authorization.

Description

Gets sun on the south face of the buttress after 10am and doesn't stay dry in rain. Beautiful climbing, very worth the walk up to it.

Getting There

Park just before (or after depending on what way you come in from) concrete bridge in the eastern gorge region. Very close to the Eastern Sky Bridge Ridge area. Go straight up the ridge across the road from the parking area, heading east up this ridge, no trail. It should only take you about five minutes to reach the top of the hill and buttress.
