This area is a 45 minute hike downhill from the end of Forest Road 5N06. Lost World is just above Donnell Lake.

Getting There Suggest change

Turn left off of 108 onto road 5N06 (38.31039, -119.93821). Bear left at the first two forks in the road (the second is 0.3 mi from 108 and has an old, dilapidated gate). At the third fork in the road, continue straight/right on 5N06 (road 5N92 continues left -- do not take this). Just past this intersection, you'll pass an abandoned gravel quarry. From here, continue straight for 1.1 miles until you hit an impassable burm. Park here (you can also camp here).

From the parking, walk over a large berm on the abandoned road for a couple of minutes. After the trail crosses three large downed trees, it begins to veer left and at this bend you'll find a use trail that heads up and right over a rock slab. Once on the granite dome the trail disappears but continue Northeast till the far side of the dome and pick up a use trail again and follow it down and cross a seasonal stream. After the stream crossing go left on the use trail then take a right to follow along the base of a tall cliff face (Bienvenidos Wall). Continue on talus and boulders to Lost World.
