It is reportedly not possible to climb the cerros because they are sacred for the aboriginal communities.

Description

These three domes are located in the lowlands near the border with Venezuela. The cerros were featured in the 2016 Oscar nominated film Embrace of the Serpent.

At least two guide companies have or perhaps still do, lead trips that include a hike to the top of one of the domes.

At least one of the domes was reportedly rock climbed by a German party circa 2006.
