Beginning February 1st and lasting until July 31st, a section of the Nockamixon Cliffs Natural Area in Delaware Canal State Park will be CLOSED TO ALL ACTIVITY. MORE INFO >>>

This is another popular gully that forms well by late-season. This climb is more sustained for the grade than Main Gully or Dead Deer Gully, with each pitch increasing slightly in difficulty. There is quality climbing to be had on all three pitches. There are sections with short bulges as well as longer steeper sections. The last pitch features a headwall with a few variations. The easiest way up the headwall is WI3+ and the most difficult is WI4- if you opt for the vertical pillar.

This is the 3rd gully one sees on the left while walking north from the main parking lot. If walking south from the smaller pullout, this gully is on the right just after Lock 20 gully. It is very close to the walking bridge that crosses the canal. Scramble up the snow or rock about 100' to approach the start of this climb.

Standard ice rack with long runners for slinging trees. Belay from trees or place screw anchors. Rappel down from numerous trees.
