Larger boulder you can see easily- look uphill from the road just past Deer Cove parking.

Getting There

Park at Deer Cove and take the trail just to the right of the sign up and into the woods. This is the first boulder you come to. Alternatively, walk about 30 yards down the road past the parking and look up and left into the woods. There it is.

The Taint Of Truth V1-2 5  Wisconsin : Governor Dodge State Park : ... : Loch Ness Boulder
Start matched mid-face standing on top of the boulder on a good edge. You kind of have to step your feet down from the top of the boulder to get on. Move up and right on a couple of small crimps and another good edge to the topout. It also seems possible to start sitting down on the right using some combination of the pockets found there. I found the holds between the SDS and the hold I started on to be rather unpleasant though....[more]   Browse More Classics in Wisconsin

I finally got to Gov Dodge to check out some the problems posted on this site after not bouldering there since 2000-01. For what its worth, I did all three of Lochness boulder problems back then. Also the two easier problem on the pimp boulder. I never named anything - just moving over stone and having fun. Someone may have been there before me, but I don't know.

You guys/gals are finding and putting up some great routes -Thanks for sharing the information. Using this site's information, I was able to get on some new routes I've never seen before. Its always fun to get on new stone.

I only did minimal cleaning of the necessary holds. These boulders are so close to the road I assumed someone had done them before me.
