Getting There

From the main Park road (paved), drive south on the Lost Horse Road (dirt) toward the Lost Horse Ranger Station. Park towards the end in one of the dirt pullouts. Walk southeast via the Access Fund trail following the contour of the rock formations on your left. If you come to the Aiguille de Joshua Tree, you've gone a little too far.

Who is this Lloyd? And why does he have a rock named after him?

An insipid looking chunk of rock that actually holds a handful of fun lines. Nothing spectacular, but the rock is sunny all day and almost all the climbs have something interesting on them. Worth spending half a day here if in the area.
