Llieda, Spain and surrounding areas

Hello, I'm headed out to spain in a few months and am looking to stay in Llieda and climb a few areas through the country and am curious if anyone who was been out that way before has either a. recommendations for places to stay or b. info on if it is necessary to book in advance.

Is the area set up for people to show up and find a place that day? I'll be meeting some friends from Sweden and we would ideally like to travel around a bit, not be tied to one hotel/ rental.
