BETA PHOTO: Life During Wartime.

Smooth and not a lot of protection. Not a bad choice for a top-rope. This climbs the smooth slab just left of the inverted arete -- Cross-eyed and Painless.

Some large slings for an anchor up top.

Not as runout as I initially thought. The protection just requires creativity to secure, and a little time.

I agree with Nathan. I was able to sew this up pretty well up to the last smooth 15'. Great stances to place gear and if you take the time to think about it, the only heady portion should be the finish.

RP this yesterday. The was able to slip a bd #1 nut into a seam right before the end run-out. Might only have been mental duck tape, but that's all it took. The last bit is super fun/easy. For those wanting to os it, don't let the lack of pro freak you out, there are good holds the whole way.

Just a heads up, there is some sort of wasp nest in the lower limb of the tree that crosses this route. We had two people get stung today.
