BETA PHOTO: Same moves as What up Weasel until you get to the ...

Description

Same start as 'What Up Weasel'. Reach the good left hand above the lip (just as in What Up Weasel, see photo) then grab good right hand (underside of overhang) and launch for the prominent arete. Work your way back (climbers) left up the arete avoiding the tree and topping out.

Location

What Up Weasel Boulder

Protection

With 3-4 pads and spotters the landing is very safe.

Maybe a better description:

Start climbing the same as what up weasel, but instead of pulling climbers-left up onto the face as in what-up-weasel, keep climbing straight out the overhang making a bigger move to the very point (arete) of the boulder. From here, top out.

I thought this was a pretty fun and maybe about a grade harder than What-Up-Weasel.
