Valerie following on Lichenbrau, pitch 1 5.6

P1 5.6 G - Climb a right leaning crack to a small birch, then proceed up and right across many good horizontal cracks to a cedar tree (belay/rap). 60'

P2 5.7 PG - Climb straight up face above tree past bolt. Can angle right to the left facing dihedral of "Backs Against the Wall," or head left under the ceiling to finish on easy rock on "Pegasus." 110'

An under-appreciated gem if done in one pitch. Not "PG-13." Save a red camalot for the section preceding the bolt.

I felt like PG13 is an appropriate rating for this one. Not especially dangerous, but definitely makes you think.

First pitch wasn't that special, but the tree belay was awesome, and the rest of the climb was pretty good.
