Luke Childers climbing "Brain Child."

This area can offer good shade and good protection from rain. The rock is good and the lines fun. The landing for most of the problems is not so great however. But bring some friends and all should be fine.

Getting There

The direction are the same as for locating "The Brothers Lookout." Once at the formation head up to the second tier via a gully that is best accessed from the east. Walk past "Left Brain Buttress" and keep looking to your right or north and you will see this quaint little alcove with a few nice lines.

Climbing Season

For the Alderfer/Three Sisters Park area.

Climb the crimps on face left of "Lowercase Class." Climb the crimps until your feet are up on the broken ledge. Next, dyno with your right (spooky) to a nice jug. Continue straight up on slopers and crimp rails to the summit. Maybe two star climbing marred by a bad fall and a broken ledge but worth the effort....[more]   Browse More Classics in Colorado
