Anyone interested in snowshoing pyramid peak? Also can it be snow shoed? |
|
Attempted Pyramid peak on Sat. Was a slog in 8" of powder. Tuned back at a the start of the actual peak. Here are some pics of the conditions at 8500 ft and the Leap. |

Thanks for the updates... Please keep them coming! Might things be dry enough for climbing on Friday? It looks like there should be some rain in the next couple days to help with melting, followed by mostly sun. |
|
Hoping to get out there on Sunday/Monday! Any updates would be stellar!! |

There was some snowfall this week but it's mostly melted out. Conditions are good now. Expect some patches of snow at the base and some wet cracks. Worth a trip if it doesn't rain. |

If anyone is looking for a Lover's Leap climbing partner, I will be available this weekend and next week. I haven't led trad, but I have followed on many of the Leap classics (Surrealistic Pillar, Corrugation Corner, and Bear's Reach). |
