Carver, about 30 minutes south east of Portland is good for bouldering when it's dry, but in the winter that can be rare!

I've heard there's some good stuff in the Columbia river gorge near the bridge of the gods, but never been there.

Carver! Only 12 miles away. The circuit is great gym, but if you want to actually climb, go to carver. Or, if you want to rope up, you could check out the railroad crag.
