Description

This is a boulder with a nice, steep wall hidden on the backside.

Getting There

Once you get to the pond, walk around the right side crossing the dam, and continue along the shore until you reach a lagoon where kids frolic in the summer. Keep going down the paths for a hundre yards or so until you see a boulder off the path right.

Climbing Season

For the Cape Ann area.

Crimp My Ride has nice crimping at the grade. Sit start matched at the obvious cool, incut crimp near the center of the wall, and move basically straight up on crimps to the slopey lip. If this were taller, it would be a classic at the grade. The starting hold has a little give in it, so try to grab it near the base at the left side....[more]   Browse More Classics in Massachusetts
