Possibly the best wall at Montgrony.

There are 2 sections to the wall, broken by a spot of slabby rock and some jumbled boulders art the base of the wall.

Afternoon sun, possibly late morning as well.

Steep tuffa climbing. Most routes are 5.12 and 5.13, though there are a handful of 5.11 and a few 5.14 pitches/extentions.

Getting There

From the main parking lot head past El Parking on foot down a dirt path maybe 50 feet, the wall will be obvious on your left sitting above a slab.

Climbing Season

For the Catalonia area.

Weather station 30.8 miles from here

The second pitch is however sharp and not as good.A difficult start gives way to a good rest off of the huge tuffa/fin. Then tricky climbing leads up and left across the face to the anchors....[more]   Browse More Classics in International
