$150 for a lightly used pair a good deal? Too rigid for general mountaineering use?

You might find them too warm - I used mine happily for ice climbing and mountaineering up to 19k, but switched to a lighter boot for more alpine rock or mountaineering below 14k.

But they were sweet - wore them straight out of the box to Ecuador and didn't have a single blister. Never had.

I say "were" because I just picked up a pair of Phantom Guide's that I think will be filling in much of the same role.

Good price too.

Thanks for the input guys - I stayed toasty in Evo Gtx before I made the mistake of selling them last spring so the extreme's might be too much heat

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
