Description

This north facing steep wall has a bunch of tuffa pinches and sits above a dry (at the time we were ther) river bed. Though it did seem humid. The wall is about 30 degrees overhaning and 40-60 feet tall. The routes start at 5.12c and go up. There are between 12 and 15 routes, some may still be projects. There are 2 parts to the wall. The sction to the left and closer to the river is open. As you hed right on the wall there is a section covered in ivy and then trees run up right against the wall mking it seem like a cave.

Getting There

From the 2nd parking area head up the road untill you cross a bridge. Imediately drop down and cross the river to your left and the wall is right there. The approach from the parking is maybe 5 minutes pretty much all on the road.

Climbing Season

Fun climbing on short tuffa pinches and such to a blocky top section. The route keeps going up onto less than vertical rock but the last bolt has a FIXE ring on it and I would recommend lowering from that.A cool move off the ground on vertical rock gets you started. Then steep climbing on mostly good pinches and underclings take one up to just below the lip. The holds turn blocky and slopy and the crux hits turning the lip onto vertical ground....[more]   Browse More Classics in International
