I was hoping you could help. I run a climbing club after school (ages 12-14 in Arvada, Colorado) and the wall we climb at doesn't rent shoes... I was wondering if anyone has cheap kids shoes they aren't using, are willing to sell at a low price, or works for a nearby climbing wall (that might rent us shoes for one day a week)... The wall is very challenging for kids and some have only gotten a few feet up it. It was the first club to fill up to capacity (less than a week) and this has been something I have wanted to do for the last five years (since I started teaching). The shoes would really help them learn techniques as well. There are 13 kids in the club ranging from a size five (girls) to a size 12 (guys) and I was hoping to get 5-6 pairs of the sizes between. If you know of anything please let me know.

Since this camp (hopefully) isn't a one time thing, you really need to find a "sustainable" solution. Ultimately I think you're going to need to get a couple dozen pairs of shoes for the kids. Maybe run a GoFundMe campaign? Raise a few 100 $ and buy all the used shoes you can. There are several in this forum at all times (including a couple of my own). You needn't worry about what type they are, except maybe avoid severely downturned models.
