the junkyard boulder is a beautiful sandstone boulder and hosts approx. 10 problems on it and a good traverse as well. The climbing is mainly gently overhanging and the wall is littered with quartzite stones ranging from pebbles to toaster size. Probably the best sandstone boulder in the park due to the quantity of routes on it. problems range from V0- V5

Getting There 

The most brainless approach is to hike the new(er) access road just west of the old sandstone parking area. Simply hike the road for about 15min +/- and you'll run right into the thing. There is a shorter/flat approach which is more complicated(email me for info)

For the East Bluff Bouldering area.

No problem Chris. I was thinking I should eventually post Junkyard Boulder as its own area. Not a ton of bouldering routes on this isolated boulder but the routes are pretty darn good I think.
