Description

This is a nice casual route, but if you're just starting out, it might freak you out a bit because the first bolt is about 25 feet up. Take along some gear to place before the first anchor. I recommend a hex or a #2 Camalot. Stay to the left side of the flake if you want good holds and to keep the rating at 5.5. Continue up the easy flake to get to the first bolt, then work your way up to the horn/ledge directly above you and to the left. The climbing gets easier and easier as you progress from here.

Location

To the left of the corner where Der Weg durch das Auenland is located.

Protection

3 bolts + anchor. Bring along some gear to protect the runouts. The only big piece you'll need is a #2. Everything else is relatively small.
