This area is under the Parc Régional de Val-David Val-Morin administration, a daily fee is required to climb, hike, bike etc in the park, FQME members benefit from a rebate as well as group outings. parcregional.com

Description

The signature crag of the Dame de Coeur area, prized mostly for the unusual wave-like formations at its far-right end. The crag faces South-West, and gets sun from mid-morning through the afternoon. This is a great spot for early and late-season climbing, but can be unbearably hot during mid-summer. The base of the crag offers no shade.

La falaise emblématique du secteur de la Dame de Coeur, appréciée surtout pour les formations inhabituelles en forme de vagues à son extrémité droite. La falaise est orientée au sud-ouest, et le soleil y brille du milieu de la matinée jusqu'à l'après-midi. C'est un endroit idéal pour l'escalade en début et en fin de saison, mais il peut faire une chaleur insupportable au milieu de l'été. La base de la paroi n'offre pas d'ombre.

Getting There

Follow the well-marked approach trail to the Dame de Coeur area. This is the 2nd and largest crag you will pass. Please respect the private property signs on some secondary trails.
