Description Suggest change

Originally graded A2 this striking line has recently been done without a hammer without increasing the difficulty. The gear is small but good through the aid pitch and good for the free climbing above.

Pitch 1 (C2): Aid up the thin seam and through the roof before coming to a ledge with cracks above for a gear belay.

Pitch 2 (5.9): A few tricky moves off of the belay lead to easier climbing and scrambling to the top. Belay from gear and then scramble up or keep going all the way to the top for trees.

Location Suggest change

Towards the far end of the face, immediately right of Operation Recuperation.

Protection Suggest change

Rack up to 3" with a couple of larger pieces potentially useful for pitch 2. Lots of micro cams and nuts as well as ballnuts are necessary for the first pitch.
