Scramble your heart out! Jacob's Ladder has a belt to sense when you are climbing high which triggers it to go faster. Has anyone else used one? Sure break a sweat.

The gym ROKC in Kansas City has one. They said after a competition people were climbing till they puked. Awesome!

Is that a hang board or pull up bars?
Reminds me of a treadwall, very cool.

Edit: I see, the picture is turned sideways, more like a stair machine. Still pretty cool.

Haven't these been around for ages?

Maybe so. First time I saw one. The Jacob's Ladder I knew was a rope ladder where the two side ropes were joined in the center to form one Pepe top and bottom. It was Set at 45• as well, and you had to balance your way up. It was a Ren Fest challenge.

This is just a really good mimic of the climbing or scrambling muscle group. I will be wearing a pack and creating a couple wooden axe mimics to span two bars.

Yup - I've used J's Ladder for training before. Started off with just bodyweight and then progressed to a 40-lb weight vest and 5-lb ankle weights. Works awesome.

I've been using it and the lower back strength is a missing piece for me.  Also, being just strong in general always helps

I been reading that there's a Jacobs Ladder Mount Everest challenge going on lately.  Curious if this is beneficial?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
