Is the location on the map actually the area? It doesn't look like there is any rock on the Google maps image.

Looks good now! I will have to check this area out. The new crag at the Emeralds is cool but a little dirty. We'll have to see if it cleans up.

This cliff has about 6 routes on it. The small cliff on the approach has 3 routes. (windy point)

Any beta on the grades?

The cliff with 6 routes on it I think you're talking about is the Gas and Electric Crag. We put those routes up about 10 years ago..

Routes left to right..
"Methane" 5.10D ,8 bolts (left side of wall)
"The Tire Iron Affair" 5.11a, 7 bolts (Climbs the tallest section of cliff)
"Fossil Fuel" 5.10a, 7 bolts (Climbs a sorta water streak)
"High Voltage" 5.10a, 7 bolts (climbs past some old rods coming out of the cliff)
"Shafted" 5.11a, TR (short TR on the mini buttress)
"Natural Gas" 5.10, 2 bolts (short problem on the right of the mini buttress)

The 3 routes on the "approach" cliff,
far left is 6 bolts and 5.10a, the two on the right just have TR anchors and still projects. We plan on finishing those up this fall.

let me know if you want more info on that stuff.

This cliff has a large dead tree standing at the top of it. Look for it on the approach. Scott Frye put all seven of the routes up. We ran in to this cliff one day when we were developing the Downstream Crag thinking we had a new cliff to develop. We were surprised to find it was already done! We then decided to hike directly uphill to the main road which was a big mistake. Now that the new guide is out we plan on going back and trying some of these routes and checking out the current condition of the hardware that is 20+ years old.
