Description

The crux is pulling past a sloping pink dish. The upper black flake is lose. I wish I did not bolt this route. I would not even bother with it. It's kind of a pile.

Location

This is on Left Wire's left side.

Protection

5 bolts to LOs.

Luke, I can understand why you bolted this... it looks nice. The different rock bands etc. Even the moves were kind of cool/bouldery. That said, yes, it's total choss. Win some and lose some I suppose.

You're right. It's total choss. The routes bolted at this area were not ever expected to be classic or anything. I never even put out any info on the area for years after the area was appearing in guidebooks. We were just looking for some quiet in C.C.C. one summer and found ourselves having a little fun on these small but quite and often fun little walls. But yes... that line sucks!! The day I sent it I just wanted to pull the bolts, and I would not care if some one pulled the bolts and took the hangers for a better route as long as the bolts were patched up well. It's a waste of good metal!!! Thanks for your comments.

Well I definitely appreciate your efforts on the area! While this one didn't work out, I would say that some of them are indeed classic worthy (like Night Stick!). Like you say too, great quiet-have-to-yourself area. Thanks for posting it up, too.
