Ed Strang climbing the steep exit on Bane (5.12a)

Description

Shares the start of Bane then moves right to bolt 5 and heads up through steeper rock. There is a huge hollow flake at the top that was too large and hard to get above to try and remove. I put an X on it and it is easy to avoid and the climbing is great just stay right of it on flat edges and great rock.

Location

left side of the wall

Protection

12 bolts and an anchor

The Huge Flake at the top is the only detraction on this route. Climb on the right wall for 4 star climbing or tread lightly (it's TOO big to fall off anyway - I HOPE! - Just like the Block of Life at Diablo!!). Really fun route Lance.
