Ice in CT?
|
So my buddy sent me this photo of this new spot they found in CT this winter... Looks a little thin but like a GREAT new area. Anyone been here and care to share? |
|
Whoa, way to burn you buddy`s ice spot. Unless its covered in a guide book I wouldnt ask questions, let alone post photos of any ice spot, secret or not. It gets crowded as it is, can you imagine being pumped to climb your secret ice spot, after waiting for it to come in, just to get there and have to wait behind people who are TR it and bashing the hell out of it. Or to get there and find its beaten to hell and unclimbable. If I were your buddy i`d slap you upside the head. |

I did a double-take when I saw your photo. |

That spot looks an awful lot like this place in Minnesota, where I've spent many winter days: Robinson Park There isn't a MP photo that exactly matches your angle here, but consider: Angle #1 Angle #2 - In particular, notice the tree leaning away from the wall.Ha... they don't have real ice in CT. Way to kill the joke with your linking... and ur facts... |

UMMM, i gotta secret spot that's pretty cool, 30-40 ft. high, AND not too far from the crib. |

What's that - basalt, taprock? We have some in Jersey. I've even climbed it iced-up like in the pic. It's not bad. Whatever. Something to climb. I don't live in Utah or Colorado. |
