Hey,
I'm looking for a partner to climb some ice in the Adirondacks, weekend Feb 1-2. I'm fairly new to ice climbing (climbed a few multi-pitch climbs in Huntington ravine, NH), so don't have a ton of gear, but I'm trying to get into it more (and willing to invest some). And would be really stoked to get some more advice.

I'm try to get organized ahead of time, but I'm also flexible and eager to go climbing before then.

Cheers,
Marco

Not sure what you have; if you are sans tools/boots etc. you may have to seek out a guide service. Otherwise...
Chances are good someone will be going to Crane or Starbuck on those dates. If you are on FB, look up Adirondack Adventure Club and post inquiries/partner requests there.
If you are heading farther north - say, Keene Valley, Cascade Pass, or Placid areas, then I would call the Mountaineer. Also check NEI.com for partners.
You can pm if necessary.

At this time, the SAdk crowd is still planning to climb ice somewhere down here. Not sure where, depends a bit on time, temps, and snowfall.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
