Description

This has varied climbing on good rock: slabs, mantels, and bulges. It is a little squeezed, perhaps finish on the last move of Tweety.

Location

Begin on the trail a few feet right of Tweety.

Protection

9 bolts (share one with Sylvester) to a 2-bolt anchor (either Tweety or Sylvester).

I think the top, just to the right of Tweety, is the crux on this. It was fun and not too hard if you are a new 5.10 leader. Another good route in the area!

Same as previous, route crowding and poor bolt placements as well as bad anchor placement.

The anchor choice leaves you on a slanting ledge....

This is a distinct climbing line, but it would not be good to create yet another pair of bolt anchors. I used Sylvester's to the right.

The guidebook says you can finish up on anchors to right, shared with Sylvester, or a variation to the anchors to the left. Since I already successfully did the finish on Sylvester, I tried the left variation. I blew the bolt on a reachy clip, crashed into the ledge below, and fractured my heel, thus, the PG-13 rating. Eager to come back and do it cleanly but will not be doing the left variation :).
