Dale on Hunter Creek Falls

Description

High in the Hunter Creek drainage above the Boulder Basin Trailhead, Hunter Creek Falls appears as an aesthetic pillar. The climb heads up an easy ramp for about 50 feet to the base of a steep pillar which tails off after about 35 feet or so. From there, it's an easy ramble up to a solid tree anchor.

Location

Follow the Boulder Basin trail until the second switchback. Head up and right from there, staying out of the drainage. Getting pretty high on the left, above some short cliff bands was possible for us and ended at the base of the route, though the slopes were avalanche prone and a bit dicey.

Protection

Screws. Tree anchor.
