He was so close to the top. I hope he gave it another try.

Base jumping looks dangerous.

My hands got so sweaty when he started to look tired. Oof.

That flatirons rescue was how to do everything wrong. I think this is more like how to do one thing spectacularly wrong.

... No Helmet, bad.

I hate these amateur videotograpers (sp??, sorry MP spell nazis) they all get to shook up to keep the camera going... and get the good details.

Did the Dude walk away?????????????

I think Darwin has something to say about this guy. Like his genes may not be transferred.

He seemed drunk to me. I hope he's alright. That had to hurt a lot.

Em Cos +1
Didn't see the video(flatirons), couldn't bring myself to watch something so painful

Zucco,
I know, I think it is relevant to climbing, because we all do some sketchy sh*t. We usually don't biff this bad though. Then again.....

No, Finny. I'm with you. I was thoroughly upset. Mostly because I am pretty sure I've drunkenly done stuff like this when I was young and dumb and in college. Luckily, I never miffed it that bad... that I can remember. Ha. I seriously hope he's alright. That was a nasty spill.

FYI there's no fkn way that kid is okay. Did u watch his head!? Shattered ankles? Shitty 6 month recovery. Whatever happened to his face/head? Life changing. We've all done stupid drunk shit in our early 20's. This kid just stepped it up a notch. Wannabe Timmy O'neil? Shoulda done it @ CU Boulder. Mighta turned out differently, but prob not. RIP that kids grill.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
