Gettin' a lap on Hourglass
A nifty route with a lower angle slabby start then steepening up and necking down before breaking over to the anchor.
Originally done to the trees at the top of the lower angle gully (usually thin or no ice) at 165 feet, the route can now be finished at the top of the more standard ice flow at a fixed anchor on the left.
Located directly across the road in a neat hallway slot from Bottomless/Topless and VPL.
Cross the creek and hike into the slot. Hourglass will be in an, oddly enough, hourglass shaped cut out on the east (right hand looking into the slot) side of the hallway.
Mix of ice screws, some short some long depending on how thick the ice appears.
Fixed rappel anchor at around 95 feet on the left.
