The Homer Spit (local tourist trap) has many overlooked little gems. Boulders vary from 3' to 10' and ratings from v1-v5 on varying rock quality. Weather can vary but it is mostly just windy. Bring a spotter or extra pads and a helmet since it can be tight quarters on some problems.

Getting There

Park at Mariner's park and walk towards the end of the spit. All boulders are on the left hand side starting from 1/4 mile to 1.5 miles down the spit. There are also parking areas on the left side of the spit which you just hope across the street and down the boulders to the beach.

Climbing Season

For the Kenai Peninsula area.

Weather station 2.5 miles from here

This is so lame. Admin's, please delete this page. This is laughable and absurd. User who submitted this is unqualified to make the statements he made. There is no bouldering here to speak of. You would have more fun bouldering on a car, or a culvert or a picnic table. So lame.
