Description
This wall lies in Choke Canyon which is the next canyon north of Bighorn Canyon. It is on the north side of the canyon facing east.
Several hard routes and link-ups of high quality have been done on this wall.
"Skintight Mousehouse" (5.11d**), Adder Dance" (5.12c***), "Puff Adder" (5.13a****), "Copperhead" (5.11b*), "Mojave Green" (512d***), "Crowed Mental Hospital" (5.13b***), "Mongoose" (5.13a****), "Atomic Venom Sprinkler" (5.13b***), "Pit Viper" (5.13b****), "Viper" (5.13b***), "Rubber Boa" (5.13c***) and "Garter Snake" (5.10b*) are found here.
Getting There
Take the main trail to Freak Brothers Dome, continue past The Weenie, turn right and follow the wash past Fat Freddie's Cat, The Obelisk and Pea Brain.
Continue contouring around north to where the southside of Bighorn Dome can be seen. Head to Boulder Canyon on the west end (left) of Bighorn Dome.
Head northwest to the next canyon north of Bighorn Canyon. A cairn marks the entrance on the right side of Boulder Canyon.
Scramble through boulders for a few hundred yards and this wall will be seen up and to the left.
