Access Issue: Echo Canyon Seasonal Closure: Jan. 1 - second Saturday in April (and sometimes longer)
Details
The Echo Canyon climbing areas are located within the Henefer-Echo Wildlife Management Area. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources closes all access to the WMA each year from January 1 to the second Saturday in April (and sometimes longer) to protect wintering wildlife.
Description
This route climbs Graffiti Patient buts heads right after the anchors to traverse past a bolt into Way Hammered, another bolt between Way Hammered and Grushenka, through Grushenka, into the crux of Stop That Terrain and finishes on those anchors. Since this route traverse through several areas that don't see much traffic, it is recommended that belayers wear helmets. Finally, I don't know if someone else did this climb before me, but I can't find it in the guidebook nor on here at all. I suggest the grade at 5.13a, but am open to discussion based on what others have to say who have done it.
