Details
Please do not litter and observe all regulations. We had to fight to regain access at one time, and we don't want to lose the privilege again. Local ethics and refuge regulations are that no bolting is permitted unless expressly authorized by the park. Leave the hammer and nails at home, no fixed gear please. Everything will go clean.
Description
Start on some sketch crunchy holds and climb up to find better holds and a hidden fixed pin. Final moves make the lower section worth it.
History
"Headbanger was named for a rappeller who took a very long crunching ground fall in the Forty Foot Hole area while climbers were drilling bolts on Bombs Away. He thought he could get back to the top without a rope. He bounced twice, and the Fort Sill helicopter team enjoyed the "live-one" practice." - Chuck Lohn
