Start on chossy layer and work over the substantial roof on positive edges. Avoid going left, but trend right on good pinches. The holds thin out but remain positive for a fun, cruising finish.

About 50 yards to the right of Black Betty, Platypus is the first route among the concentration of new routes. Look for the obvious roof near the start.

I almost want to give four stars to this route. Such a fun line.
Still a few loose spots at the start, so even though it's not difficult, use caution getting to first and second bolts.
I've heard a number of climbers suggest a stouter rating than 10a. They may have a point.
