Looking west towards Kinsty Pike

Description 

A beautiful area for hiking a road travels to the bottom of the lake which is actually a reservoir about 5 miles in length ,a small village was cover by the lake when the reservoir was built. A popular hike from the end of the lake is up onto The High Street Mt range the site of a Roman road.There are some ice climbs in this area if the winter weather allows.

Getting There 

Best approched from the town of Penrith via the villages Yanwath,Askem and Brampton

Climbing Season

For the England area.
