The trail to Haw Creek East is well traveled, probably because of all the hikers going to the falls. The trail starts just right of the small stream coming down from the hill. Park .5 miles (heading east) from the Haw Creek Falls campground entrance on the right side of the road. A short 5 min uphill approach to the cliff.
