Harriman State Park, located in Rockland and Orange counties, is the second-largest park in the parks system, with 31 lakes and reservoirs, 200 miles of hiking trails, three beaches, two public camping areas, a network of group camps, miles of streams and scenic roads, and scores of wildlife species, vistas and vantage points. Harriman State Park's major facilities include Lakes Welch, Sebago, Tiorati and Silvermine, the Anthony Wayne Recreation Area, Sebago Cabins and Beaver Pond Campgrounds.

This park is huge and an area called the Master Bedroom was featured in Josh Lowell's, Dosage V. There are many areas of bouldering in the park. Satellite images show outcroppings and slabs along almost the entire SE edge of the park along with established areas with climbs up to V14 established by John Kootz, Matt Bosley, Ivan Green, and many other S. NY climbers. Within the park there are many erratics and outcroppings to occupy your time.

Sharp Thing V1 5  NY : Harriman State Park : Ga-Nus Quah Rocks
This is a low, slightly overhanging traverse around the outer edge of a very large boulder in Ga-Nus Quah. A razor sharp flake of rock has separated along the outside of the boulder. It's probably V1 at the start, and a little harder as you reach the end....[more]   Browse More Classics in NY

Anyone have any beta on how to get to the master bedroom? I've scoured the valley of boulders area and parts of the eastern park to no avail. Cheers.
